Car Restoration

We are able to undertake work on both car bodies & chassis, body panels and component parts for the restoration of both classic & vintage cars as well as modern road vehicles.

All parts must be supplied ready for treatment, ie stripped. Chiltern Blast can provide full cleaning and paint removal for any size vehicle leaving the metal surface good for paint coating. A range of surface preparations can be applied as required such as degreasing agents and phosphating as well as primers such as zinc rich primer.

Depending on the size of the job we can offer either a powder coat finish or a wet spray finish. For items larger than our main oven (3.7m x 2.7m x 2.7m) we can only offer wet spray finishes. A wide range of coating types are available from standard finishes used for most industrial applications through to high end cellulose coatings typically used for high quality automotive body panels.
